Tim Corbin

Tim Corbin Headshot

Dedicated, driven and devoted are three words that could easily describe Tim Corbin.  Tim graduated from Ohio Wesleyan in 1984. He worked as an assistant coach at Clemson University for nine years and was the head coach at Presbyterian College for six years before taking over as head coach of the Commodores in 2003 at Vanderbilt University.

In 2014, Corbin lead his team to win Vanderbilt’s first-ever men’s national championship. The team has made every NCAA tournament appearance under Corbin’s leadership except for 2005. In addition to coaching the Commodores, Corbin has also had the privilege of coaching the 2006 USA National Team. His success and leadership has not gone unnoticed as he has received multiple coaching offers from the New York Yankees, the Boston Red Sox, LSU, Auburn, and the University of Oregon. However, Corbin remains loyal to Vanderbilt and their future program.

Over the years, Tim has remained dedicated to the game, driven to do his best for those he leads and devoted to his family. Tim resides in Tennessee with his wife Maggie. He has two stepdaughters Molly and Hannah Blatt.
