Coach Rick Byrd has spent the past 33 seasons as Head Coach for the Belmont University Men’s Basketball team. We recently sat down with Coach Byrd to gain some insight on leadership lessons he’s learned over the course of his career. Also, we took this opportunity to unpack how important it is to have a healthy outlook on sports and the development of student athletes in a day and time when fame and fortune have lead so many coaches and programs to poor decisions.
