Joel Barone is the Vice President, Group Business Manager in the Automotive Division of Maritz, LLC. Maritz is a sales and marketing services company that designs and operates employee recognition and reward programs, sales channel incentive programs, (including incentive travel rewards) and customer loyalty programs.

Originally from New York, Joel has a biology degree from Brown University where he was also a linebacker on the football team. He later received his MBA from Duke University. Joel’s career path has spanned several industries, including education, real estate, hospitality and automotive. Through his career journey, Joel has come to understand that his passion doesn’t lay in any specific industry, rather he is driven most by the desire to help improve the performance of people and processes.

Joel and his family have been members of Rolling Hills Community church for five years, where he serves on the A6 ministry team. He currently lives in Franklin, TN with his wife, Trisha, and their four children.
