Jeff, a Nashville native, graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University in 1994. He joined BC&A in 2000 as a project manager with a focus in commercial site development. To date, he has managed corporate clients such as Jack-in-the-Box, has a 10-year, 22-project relationship with the Rutherford County Board of Education, and has completed exciting projects such as Arrington Vineyards Winery and the Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Operations Center. Jeff’s continued success with helping clients manage development projects from feasibility through construction led him to becoming a Vice President in 2007. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee, an active Board Member of the Nashville Branch of ASCE, and a member of the Nashville Chapter of TSPE, who recognized him as the “2003 Young Engineer of the Year.” Jeff has served as president of the Rebuilding Together Nashville Executive Board and is a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He and his wife Sara have one daughter and enjoys travelling, golfing, and hiking.

Jeff has been with Chick-fil-a for over 18 years and his current position is Executive Operations Director for the Chick-fil-a Thoroughbred Square on Mallory Lane.  Jeff has a passion for teaching, mentoring and developing high performance leadership teams. This location finished the 19th highest volume store in the nation at $8.5 million dollars and the 18th most profitable out of 2000 plus locations.  This years sales will pass $9 million annually and Jeff will help open additional stores in the Nashville/Middle Tennessee market in the coming year. 

Jeff previously served as the GM of Restaurant Operations for Amy’s Kitchen, a northern California company that recruited him back in 2014.  Jeff helped create and open the first all vegetarian, all organic, non GMO fast food restaurant in the nation in Rohnert Park, Ca., where every item could be made vegan, gluten free and non dairy.  Jeff helped with restaurant design, marketing, operation procedures, hiring etc and first year sales exceeded projections by $2.5 million.  

Prior to Amy’s Jeff had spent multiple years with Chick-fil-A helping the Brentwood location become one of the top 20 stores in the nation in both sales and profits along with helping open multiple locations in Middle Tennessee.  He has also helped mentor a number of past employees to become CFA Owner/Operators with more on the way.  

Jeff played baseball at Belmont University, is the founder of the Brett Kern Charity Fundraiser benefiting Fellowship of Christian Athletes along with helping create two additional charities, Community Child Care Center Texas Holdem event and the Mission 615 Texas Holdem Fundraiser.  Jeff has also been a guest speaker at MTSU, Belmont, Lipscomb University and numerous high schools in the area.  Jeff is married to Kristin and has two sons, Cade 23 and Aden 14.
